Cayman is really suffering in the recession, and the number of job opportunities is drastically down on a few years ago.

However, the process is still the same.  Before an expat can be hired, the employer has to prove that there isn't a Caymanian that can fill the position.  This is usually done by advertising the position in the local newspapers, the Cayman Compass (http://www.caycompass.com) and Cayman Net News (http://www.caymannetnews.com). Most job adverts appear in the Friday edition, and the good news is that you can read the whole of CaymanNewNews online for free - click on Paper Edition on the left hand side.

It may also be checking some of the resources on my website at http://www.gotocayman.com/index.php?title=FAQJobs and http://www.gotocayman.com/index.php?title=DirectoryE#Employment_agencies

Good luck!
Robert
