Question
Hello Taura,

I am a Canadian citizen who spends 2 weeks out of every month on Grand Cayman. I enter and exit on a tourist visa. Is it possible for someone like myself to purchase and register a vehicle in Grand Cayman? Having to rent a vehicle for 12 days every month is an expense I could do without.

Regards

Kevin

Answer
Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been looking into a few resources for you and found nothing that would would restrict you from owning a vehicle, so yes, it is possible for you to purchase a vehicle and have it registered in your name here in the Cayman Islands :)
