Question
Hi my friend. I am a college student at the portmore community college of Jamaica. I'm doing an associate degree in hospitality and tourism management and i am seriously interested in moving and working in a hospitality department in the Cayman Islands for the summer. I really want to know if there would be a good chance for me getting hired there with the economic situation.  If you think i might get a chance,do you know of any places that would hire me for the summer. Please and thank you for your time.

Answer
Hi Jerome - thanks for your question.  It's difficult to say how hard it will be to find a job there.  My advice would be to contact the Cayman consulate in Kingston for the procedure of getting a work permit for Cayman, then, if that goes well, start contacting all the hotels on Grand Cayman.  You can Google these.  Start sending your resume out to as many places as you can find.  Good luck!
