Question
im from the dominican republic and i want to know if i need a visa to go cayman island and i got work permit from the british virging island and i have a merican visa....

According to the Department of Immigration website (http://immigration.gov.ky) you will need a visa. That website also has details of the process to obtain the visa. Note that the visa is only to visit as a tourist. Work permits are not transferable from one country to another!
