Question
Hi,

I had visited Grand Cayman a while back and was wondering why there was no ferry service between 7 Mile Beach and Rum Point.  I thought this would be a natural as Rum Point is a great place to get away from the masses and it would cut down the time it takes to drive there.

Answer
Hi Mark,

It's been awhile since I've taken the ferry to Rum Point, but last I recall there is a ferry that leaves from Seven Mile Beach-The link below may provide further details http://www.rumpointattractions.com/ as the following information was found on google "The Rum Point Adventure begins aboard the brand new custom built Rum Pointer Ferry. She is 75 feet long and is equipped with four John Deere engines. The trip across the North Sound to Rum Point is just 40 minutes and is a convenient and relaxing alternative to driving. The ferry departs from the Hyatt Regency Canal at 10:00 a.m., Noon and 4:00 p.m. on Mondays - Thursdays and 10:00 a.m. Noon and 6:00 p.m. from Friday to Sunday. The return times from Rum Point are 11:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. weekdays and 11:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Fridays and weekends."

The Hyatt is located on West Bay Road which many refer to as Seven Mile Beach.

Hope this helps.

Thx
