Question
SMU student looking for a 2 bedroom apartment to rent for 1 year starting January 1st,2007. Looking for: a place close to SMU, a nice place, not too expensive. Any suggestions on contacts or web sites to find a place?

Unfortunately you are almost asking the impossible. As the University is located behind Seven Mile Beach, you are in prime property region. Much of the accommodation in this area is geared towards the tourist market.
I'd suggest that you check some of the links to Real Estate brokers on my page at http://www.gotocayman.com/gcmbusre.htm I'd also sugest that you check out some of the classifies adverts sites, and also online copies of the local newsparpers - especially the Firday editions that have the most classified adverts.
