Cayman Islands/Work Visa

Question
I am from New Zealand and Im traveling with my fiance who is from Scotland and really want to work in the Cayman Islands for about 2 years.  We are on work visa's in Canada at the moment and would love a chance to work in the Cayman Island. How do we apply for work visa's?

Answer
Individuals cannot apply for a work visa.

You must first seek out employment.  Once a potential employer offers a position, they will provide you with the necessary paperwork.  Upon submission of the application form, medical test results, and police clearance letter the potential employer can then solicit the work visa on your behalf.

You must seek out employment prior to arrival in Cayman.  It is an offence to seek work whilst in Cayman on a tourist visa.

Each of you must seek work independently.  While a spouse may be listed as a dependent on an individuals work visa, a fiance cannot.
