Question
Hi there. My family is moving to the Caymans in the next month. My second child will be born there. I know of one used consignment store on the island that sells used baby gear...do the weekly classified ads have many things for sale for baby? (ie: highchair, crib, toys, clothing). Not sure what to pack...can't afford all new stuff when we get there! Thanks.
I'd suggest that you check the Friday edition of the papers (Cayman Compass, CaymanNetNews) and look for the adverts for the garage sales. Get there early as you'll find that lots of the Jamaicans go to these to stock up.
Also check some of the classified adverts online (see http://www.gotocayman.com/gcmbusa.htm#CLAS
