first, i looked at your faq - but i didn't see anything about the festivals.....
i was on vacation on grand cayman in 2002 - we were there in mid april - and happened to catch the batabano festival and parade and we LOVED it....i am planning to come down again in 2005 - but cannot find anything anywhere that says the date in 2005 - i have seen sites that say its late may - but i am certain it was april the year we were there - do you have any idea of the exact date of the parade etc - for 2005? thanks!

Batabano has it's own website at http://www.caymancarnival.com/  This year it was held May 6th to May 9th.  

According to the Department of Tourism web site (http://www.caymanislands.ky), next year's carnival will be from May 5th to May 8th
