Cayman Islands/dolphins

Question
hi. i have always wanted to see the grand cayman, but i would like to scuba dive with some dolphins. Do i want the bahamas instead?

Answer
The Cayman Islands only rarely have dolphins pass through the area, usually in the late spring.  They are not normally resident in the waters around the island year round, and do not usually approach divers.

There are no captive dolphin programs in Cayman either.

The Turks and Caicos come first to mind for the potential of seeing wild dolphins during a scuba dive.
