Question
Hi Robert, We will be in the Caymans in July. What is the deal with insects? Are there cockroaches like in Hawaii? I don't really care, but I would like to be prepared for anything? Thanks, Jan

Yes, there are cockroaches on Cayman, and (as far as I'm concernes) they can be big, but I don't know how they compare with those in Hawaii. However, you don't tend to see them round the big hotels/resorts, but round the smaller places where not so much efort is placed on controlling garbage, etc.
