Dear Robert,
Would you know the minimum salary requirements imposed by the government for any applicant to a job in Grand Cayman?
In my case, I am married with a child.

Can't really answer this. Government doesn't set salary levels - it is up to the employer. However, as you have a child that would have to be listed at a dependent, they may refuse you a work permit of they think the salary of the post wouldn't cover your accommodation costs as well as the schooling costs for your child.
