Hi, Im looking at place's to rent for long term and some say that a maid is included with rent. What do they exatcly mean by that?
Some accommodations include mandatory maid service as a part of the rent. Usually this includes a once weekly cleaning of the apartment, though exact details may vary. This does not include a live-in maid.
Property owners sometimes require maid service as a part of the lease for apartments or condos on the higher end of the rental market. It is a means by which the property owner can provide added value for the tenant and also help ensure their investment in the property.
