hello,
i was just wondering if turtle farming is an important agricultural aspect of the Cayman Islands? i am doing an assignment on it at the moment, thank you

I wouldn't say that it is an "important agricultural aspect", but the turtle is certainly key to the islands. It features on teh Island's crest (see my page on National Symbols) and also features in many logos of local companies.

Grand Cayman has the world's only commercial turtle farm (http://www.turtle.ky), and it is one of the top tourism attractions on this island.  Caymanians that have a permit are allowed to catch turtles for their meat (a number of local restaurante serve turtle dishes).
