Question
i have a lein on my car i am moving to the caymans for 7 years. what paperwork is needed to move my car

Answer
Sorry for the delay on replying - i've been on holiday.
I don't think for import purposes that it matters that you have a loan outstanding on it, but there may well be a stipulation from the company that the car shoudln't be exported until it has been cleared. It is best to use a shipping agent to transport the car for you -  check out th elinks on my website at http://www.gotocayman.com Note you will have to pay duty (about 27%) on the book value of the car and the shipping costs.
