Question
Unfortantly igot a DUI in canada last march. Am i unable to get my self a visa for work in the cayman? if no how do i go about doing this?? The police clearance is going to stop me from entering ur wonderfull country?

Answer
Individuals do not apply for work visas. Instead, potential employers submit the application on behalf of the prospective employee.

A police record must be submitted as a part of the application process. The application is then evaluated as a whole. It is up to the Immigration department to determine if whether a DUI conviction will prevent your application from being successful.

I would suggest being open with any prospective employer and discussing your concerns from the outset.
