Cayman Islands/visas

Question
do you have to have a visa to take residency in the cayman islands? or is a
passport sufficient or nothing at all needed?

Answer
Wesley
I think that you are confusing two issues - entry requirements for visitors and rules to live in Cayman.  There is some information on this in my FAQ at http://www.gotocayman.com with links to various useful resources including http://www.caymannewresident.com/

Note that if you visit Cayman as a tourist you are not meant to seek emplyment. You have to be off island as your work permit is processed. If you are interested in retiring to Cayman, then you have to proove you can support yourself without working.

Hope this helps!
