i cannot find any info on marinas....i am the captain of a 68 foot sail boat and the owner would like to visit the island...possible in feb/march next year(2005)...any info/help would be greatly appreciated...i have never been to the island so am looking forward to coming.......Roddy Bettaney

I'd sugest contacting some of the boat dealers (see the links at http://www.gotocayman.com/gcmbusa.htm) and the Cayman Islands Yacht Club
(PO Box 30985, SMB, Grand Cayman, BWI; 345-945-4322, they don't appear to have a web site or e-mail address)
According to one resource (at http://www.aboutcayman.net/guides/caymanadventureguide/adventures/water.cfm), the Yacht Club has 152 slips. It offers berthing facilities, fuel, electricity, and water hook-ups for craft up to 70 feet. No laundry, store, restaurant, or other amenities are available at this North Sound marina. The Harbour House Boatyard and Marina (P.O. Box 850 GT, Grand Cayman, BWI; 345-947-1307, fax 947-6093) provides dockage, a small boat slipway, small and large boat storage, and more. This is a working dockyard. The marina is located on Marina Drive at Prospect Park.
