QuestionHello,
My wife and I are flying in to Miami Int on Sunday March 22cnd from England. We will be visiting friends in Naples at some time during our visit, which will be until April 14th.but we'd also like to try a small cruise while we're there. We're looking for maybe a 6-9 night cruise from Miami. leaving Mar 23rd.-we've never been on a cruise before.Would it be a good idea to wait until the morning of the 23rd and just visit the cruise lines offices in the port and see whose offering any deals to leave that day-we're not at all bothered about destination or cruise line but would like an outside cabin with a usable balcony?
Also. where would you recommend staying on the Sunday night.i.e what hotels are near the port?
Thank You
AnswerDue to cruiseline and Homeland Security requirements, you must be listed on a cruise no later than 72 hours before a ship sails. This will not allow you to book at the last minute. Your best bet is to see a travel agent on the UK and book your cruise in advance before your travels to the USA. They can also steer you towards hotel accommodations.
Sorry I can not assist further with your questions.
