Celebrity/Cabin Codes

Question
Hi,

I have booked a cruise on Celebrity's Millenium, and reserved 2 cabins which are billed as "Premimum with Verandas." In reading about Celebrity on the web, I am confused about what the cabins codes mean. What is the difference between 1A and 1B, or 1A and 2A? Our cabins are category 1C. Should I change it?

Thanks for your help...it's nice of you to volunteer this service.

Answer
Hi Deborah,
Category 1A 1B and 1C are the same cabins, the only difference is location.  They are all 191 sq. feet with 41 square foot verandas.
Category 2A 2B and 2C are also the same, however they are deluxe, 170 square feet with 38 square feet of veranda.
Again, the difference is in the location of cabin.
You will be fine with a 1C.  Again, they may just be on a lower deck or not as centrally located on the ship.
Celebrities web site www.celebritycruises.com will have a diagram you can look at.  Your travel agent should also give you a pamphlet that shows exactly where your cabin is.
Hope this helps and if you have any further questions, just e-mail me.

I have been on NCL, Princess, HAL and Celebrity Cruises, but Celebrity is our favorite line. I have traveled Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean, Alaska, Canada/New England and am familiar with the beaches and places to go at these destinations. We love to cruise and I can tell you the "in`s and out`s of cruising."
