CT,
   I'am taking my first cruise to bermuda on
   7/24, I finally convinced my wife to go on
   a cruise, The cruise lines is celebity and
   the ship is the horizon,my ? is the sea
   always rough going to bermuda, and the
   ship does get weather reports for any bad
   storms at sea,I just want every thing to
   go good if you only knew how I had to talk
   my wife into taking a cruise,if fact the
   cruise was booked the last minute.CT, any
   other tips for a first time cruiser.

Hi Dom..... because there is temperature diff. in water when crossing, the seas can clash and cause some waves to make the trip over to Bermuda a little ruff... but weather has been good lately and a client of ours just returned from bermuda on YOUR SHIP and said the waters were VERY CALM on this cruise. When you get the worst seas is towards the end of the Bermuda Season (Oct).

The captain is well aware of the sea conditions before and during the cruise and will bypass any storms for the safety and comfort of passengers. You should be just fine !

You have selected a wonderful cruiseline and I think you will be very impressed with the ship you have chosen. I have done this itinerary several times over the years and always on Celebrity..... excellent staff, accommodations, meals and entertainment !

If you plan on booking a future cruise, you can do so while onboard and often get an onboard credit of $50.00 p/p towards the next cruise.... then you can of course always transfer the booking to your favorite travel agent as well.

Have a Grrrrrrrrrrreat cruise... I know your wife will be thrilled and that you both will probably be hooked on cruising after the first !
