Answer
1. Constant loss of semen from voluntary ejaculation through masturbation leads to immense loss of Prana, health and finally vitality causing degeneration and premature decay of the body. This results in rapid weakness & ageing. One becomes prone to illness & various diseases. The mind gets addicted to the concept of sexuality leading to strengthening of past sexual Samskaras (impressions) and Vasanas (tendencies). Spirituality becomes dim and finally disappears.

2. The method of getting free from porn & masturbation has been dealt with in various 'past answers'. Kindly go through each and every 'past answer' on this portal to get clear with the method.

3. Answer.1 clears Question.3

4. Yes.

5. The Yogic practices to be applied have also been outlined in past answers.

6. Because it is life energy. Isn't life important?

7. Mere lack of masturbation does not make semen into Ojas. For that, one has to practice Brahmacharya in thought, word and deed with a life of Yogic practices. Ignore blue balls.

8. Pranic energy is conserved through Brahmacharya. It is located all over the body with its source in the Atman present in the heart.

9. Yes.

10. Through Brahmacharya.

Expertise

I can answer to the extent of my knowledge, questions concerning the practice of 'Brahmacharya', the results that follow and the means required.

Experience

I am into the practice of 'Brahmacharya' along with the study and practice of a life of 'Yoga' aimed at self-realization. My aim at volunteering here is to share with fellow readers, matters concerning self-realization/Brahmacharya to the extent of my knowledge. The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which means 'to join'. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidyâ' thus signifies a mode of life that leads to the apparent union of the individual Jivâtma (embodied soul) with the Lord of the Universe - Brahman/The Almighty. Mere indulgence in 'Âsana' or physical postures is not Yoga. Âsana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. True Yoga consists of a lifestyle governed by the eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, Âsana, Prânâyâma, Pratyâhâra, Dhârana, Dhyâna and Samâdhi. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':-"Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "One who has completely surrendered to Brahman, overcome the ego, and has realized himself to be a tool of the Almighty." Perfection in these eight limbs leads to establishment in 'Brahma Vidyâ' (knowledge of the Brahman) followed by merger with the Almighty.
