Celibacy/Abstinence/Masturbation leads to loss of Neurotransmitters

sir,i want to know that whether chronic masturbation reduces acetylcholine, serotonin, dopamine and other neurotransmitters in brain which are highly recommended for concentration, memory, mental fortitude.

i have been traumatized by masturbation since age of 12,now i am

18, previously i used to feel that it made by body full of fatigue and made by spinal weak, but when i left it completely for 6 months,i
begin to notice changes which are-

improved memory
less lethargy
weight loss
slowed hair loss

i want to know whether i am on right path and also about neurotransmitters.

Yes, masturbation leads to copious loss of such transmitters and many more without doubt. Brahmacharya increases their abundance thereby leading to overall well being and excellent mental & physical health.

Questions concerning the practice of 'Brahmacharya' to know the self, & the means required are dealt with here.

The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which refers to union. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidy‚' is the eternal dissolution of the individual 'Aham' (Ego) into the Atman (self) for 'Mukti' (liberation). Mere indulgence in '¬sana' or physical postures is not Yoga. ¬sana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. The eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, ¬sana, Pr‚n‚y‚ma, Praty‚h‚ra, Dh‚rana, Dhy‚na and Sam‚dhi are the means to Yoga. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':- "Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "To surrender one's Ego and go with the will of the Almighty."
