Celibacy/Abstinence/Extraordinary happenings

It is say that during the life of Swami Trailinga a day he was put in prison for being naked in the streets but then escaped physically  and miraculously as if teleported. In some unexplained story this even happened spontaneously to common people like a filipino soldier called Gil Perez (its documented, even by authorities) who awoke in Mexico and was put to jail accused of being witch. One apostle of Jesus was put in prison by a jewish king too and some angel appear in his dream and he ended up outside the cell even if he had chains. Is this real or scientific, do they travel a wormhole or move by an unknown dimension of nature?

It is a Siddhi (occult power), wherein, the Yogi de-materializes his body at one place and re-materializes it at another. It is beyond the understanding of modern science.

Questions concerning the practice of 'Brahmacharya' to know the self, & the means required are dealt with here.

The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which refers to union. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidy‚' is the eternal dissolution of the individual 'Aham' (Ego) into the Atman (self) for 'Mukti' (liberation). Mere indulgence in '¬sana' or physical postures is not Yoga. ¬sana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. The eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, ¬sana, Pr‚n‚y‚ma, Praty‚h‚ra, Dh‚rana, Dhy‚na and Sam‚dhi are the means to Yoga. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':- "Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "To surrender one's Ego and go with the will of the Almighty."
