Question
One should follow the heart to know which path one take.

Can one talk/communicate to the inner self on the path one take in the future?

If yes, i would like to know the method to speak to the inner self .

Thank you.

Answer
When the mind is made thought free through Yogic practices and the required life perspective/lifestyle, as described in past answers, it merges into the self which is pure consciousness and pure being. That itself is meditation and that itself is speaking to the inner self. When this is perfected, the one who speaks or communicates also merges into that infinity,  which itself is one's true self - Atman and the self of all, also called the Almighty. Then, the speaker, speaking and spoken, all disappear. Silence....

Questions concerning the practice of 'Brahmacharya' to know the self, & the means required are dealt with here.

Experience

The term 'Yoga' is a derivative of the Samskruth verb 'Yuj' which refers to union. 'Yoga', also called 'Brahma vidy‚' is the eternal dissolution of the individual 'Aham' (Ego) into the Atman (self) for 'Mukti' (liberation). Mere indulgence in '¬sana' or physical postures is not Yoga. ¬sana is only one limb or 'Anga' of Yoga. The eight limbs viz. Yama, Niyama, ¬sana, Pr‚n‚y‚ma, Praty‚h‚ra, Dh‚rana, Dhy‚na and Sam‚dhi are the means to Yoga. Brahmacharya or spiritually based continence is one of the important components of 'Yama'. 'Brahmacharya':- "Brahmani charyathey ithi" - "To surrender one's Ego and go with the will of the Almighty."
