Question
I have tried to pair with a razr and even though the pairing is successful, my system fails when my husband tries to send me a ring tone.  Can you help

Answer
The first thing we need to verify is the amount of available memory you have open on your razr. Motorola razr's do not have as much open memory as other phones on the market. The first thing I would verify is the size of the ringtone your husband is trying to send you. The second thing I would verify is to make sure that you have that available space on your phone. The third thing I would verify is to see if the ringtone your husband is trying to send you is not a purchased ringtone from his service provider. When you purchase a ringtone from your service provider those ringtones are generally locked to that device only so when you attempt to send that ringtone to somebody else it will always fail. If the ringtone is locked you will not be able to send via bluetooth or usb data cable for that matter. If your phone does not have the available space you will have to delete some files and make room for the ringtone. Another suggestion is take the battery out of the device while the device is powered on to due a soft reboot on your device the bluetooth software may be momentarily not working this will enable it to work fully again. If this does not help you out please contact me again for more possible suggestions. Thank you.
