QUESTION: Hi. Im an indian styding in college. I want to buy a cellophone. I have not much knowledge of features and requirements which are best for buying a cellphone. I dont know if u are aware of indian currency..but my budget is till Rs 10,000. Can u please advise me about which mobile should i buy for as would be best mobile set for college students?

It really would depend on what type of capabilities and dependabilities you require out of your cell phone first thing I would need to know is are you a pc or mac user? do you use your phone for email? do you use the internet alot? do you text message alot? Do you use the camera function on a phone? Would you be interested in a media player phone so you can listen to music on your phone? How about the video function? another thing that I would like to know is are you studying in college here in the states or are you still in India? Please answer my questions and these will help me to further my suggestion for you?

QUESTION: Hi Roberto...Im an pc user. I have never used  mobile for email. I do use internet a lot...im on internet most on the time coz most of works need it. I use camera function ...have to use it frequently. Yes i would be like to have a media player phone...im a music freak..love listening a lot of time. Using video function would be cool if it can have enough memory space i guess. and Im still in India.

QUESTION: Im sorry..but i didnt get ur question ...im looking to buy a cellphone in india...i know would be difficult for u to guess...nd what are exactly unlocked phones?..the one which dont have a sim lock?..sorry i dont have much knowledge as such about cellphones.

I apologize about the confusion I was actually wondering if you were looking for a cell phone to purchase because you are coming to the states and you want to start service here or if you are looking to purchase a phone for you to live in India? I was also wondering if there are certain phones that I am limited to or if you are open to any suggestion? also if you are looking for an unlocked phone an unlocked phone meaning it is a phone that is not designated to one carrier meaning any gsm carrier can just put in there sim card and and the phone will work? I apologize for any confusion.
