Question I am being forced by my JOB to upgrade my phone to one with active sync. I am totally tech ignorant. I currently use my little flip phone to just make/receive calls and take pictures of the grandkids once in a while. I have narrowed it down to the Motorola Q and the Samsung BlackJack ll i617. Which one will make me feel less ignorant? The JOB will pay the bill each month so that is not a concern. I have done a little research and am leaning towards the Samsung but really just want something that is super easy to learn.
Thanks,
Answer Hello Gina,
You have came up with 2 very good phones let me break both of them down they have have great cameras they both run on windows mobile as the operating system 6.0 they both would pretty much be the same as far as using the phone because all options would be through the operating system. So honestly when it comes to these two phones the difference would be minimal. I do have one suggestion though the Motorola Q comes with an extended battery that will last longer than the Samsung Blackjack II. If you are interested in the Media Player part of the phone I honestly think the Motorola Phone has a better sounding quality. When it comes to e-mail and Active sync since both of these devices run off of Windows they would both run the same so honestly the difference really comes down to the design and which phone feels better in the palm of your hand. I have another suggestion they have live phones when you go to the store feel free to play with the phones and make a test call out and see if you like one model in particular to the other. The Samsung phone does however come in two colors a Black version and a Red version at this time the Motorola phone only comes in one color. I hope I have helped you when it comes down to your decision, if you have any further questions please feel free to ask. Thank you for your question.

Thank you, I did test both phones and will probably go with the Samsung as it was a better fit in my hands.
