Question Hi. I just learned that Verizon wireless deleted approx 20 old voicemails from my account. I'd been dutifully saving them, re-saving every so often to stay within their specified window. These msgs are my kids first words, so rather cherished. is there anything I can do? might they also be on my handset? they've got to live on a server somewhere, perhaps, yes? really desperate.. is there a secret VP of customer service i could engage, seeing that i'm a 15yr plus customer who's easily spent over $10k with them?
Answer Hello Chris,
From my knowledge I do believe that cell phone companies have something called expanded voice mail where you can save your voice mails for an unlimited amount of time that service should run very inexpensive. What I also recommend for customers to do is there is a program you can run off of your computer that is called modem spy what this software does is it actually records live conversations into mp3 files or wav files on your home computer. I am sorry however at that point it is kind of impossible to retreive those messages. What I will suggest for you to do is contact Verizon Wireless technical support staff and hopefully they can help resolve your problem. Aside of that see if Verizon Wireless offers you that expanded voice mail which they should. Thank you for your question.
