Question QUESTION: Is it possible if using a cell tower other than your providers that a call or text message made at say 9:00 pm would be indicated on the bill as a call made at 11:00 pm ?
ANSWER: Hello Dumas,
It is possible if you were in a different city with a time zone difference of 2 hours or if the person you were talking to is 2 hours away that is the only reason that I can find that it would give you a 2 hour delay. I hope that I have answered your question please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions.

QUESTION: Thank you for your response. This is in the same time zone and not but about 20 miles apert. The two hours was an example some are 3-4 hours from the time the person claims to have last been texting.
Answer Hello Dumas,
It is not possible at all the towers work as servers and they take exact time stamps of each text message if you receive your detailed bill you can see there is usually time and date. To be honest with you there is no way that would happen that I see. The same way these towers can time your phone calls your time used on the internet its the same way they can stamp your text messages. If the person is using an instant messager on the phone that counts as a text message just to let you know. I hope this information has helped you. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.
