Cellular Phones/How do I transfer phone numbers from a cell phone to a sim card?
Expert: Roberto Serrano - 2/7/2008
QuestionQUESTION: Hello,
My old samsung is expiring. My son gave me a blackberry, and now I need to have the numbers in the sim. However, I saved my numbers directly into the phone. Is there a way to do a download, rather than doing it one by one. Gracias Robert, puedes contestar en castellano. Yo estoy en Miami, FL. Gracias.
Gracias.
The first thing you should know is that not all Samsung Cell phones have the ability to copy all contacts to sim all at once on some Samsung Cell phones you can only copy them one by one. I am going to make a suggestion if you go to your local Cell phone provider store they can copy all the contacts from your cell phone to your sim card free of charge. Another thing we can do is if you give me your Samsung model number and local cell phone provider I can give you the step by step if your phone has the ability. If you have another question please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.

QUESTION: Thanks for your answer. The Samsung cell model is SGH-x497, and my cell server is Cingular/AT&T. My new apparatus is going to be a Blackberry 8700c. This is a gift from my son. Thanks in advance for your answer.
AnswerUnfortunately with the Samsung model you have you can only copy each contact one by one what I am going to suggest is that you take your phones to a local At&t wireless store so they can copy all the contacts from the Samsung phone to the Blackberry device you will be using it should take about 5 minutes or less and of course it is a free service when you go to a local At&t Corporate store an authorized dealer might also have that capability but they might charge you.
