Question
I just bought a w490 with tmobile, i also bought a data cable, hopping i could transfer my mp3's from the computer, or graphcis, that i personally made, to my phone, however, when i hook it up, drive d shows up, and i click and drag my stuff to the drive, it says:
please insert disk to drive d:

The appropriate software that you need for your phone to be able to transfer ringtones and pictures if Motorola phone tools. After you install that software on your pc you will be able to transfer over information including contacts that you have in Microsoft Outlook Express.
