Question
My friend has a blackberry curve. She has purchased a 64K smart chip. Will she
be able to switch out the chip in her Blackberry to keep business and personal
contacts  and correspondence separate. What else can a spare chip be used for?
Thank you.

Answer
Hello Cal,

A spare chip can not really be used for anything the only thing you can actually keep a extra sim card for is if one goes bad you can call your service provider and give them your spare sim card number and that will be your new number. You can also keep an extra copy of your numbers on the extra sim card but with blackberry you have a backup software that will copy all the information such as contacts calendar and settings to one big file on your pc and that will be a backup source for you incase something were to happen to your phone. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
