I was hoping you could help me with a problem. I have a Samsung T629. I've had it for a while now. The other day, the sound stopped working. I can't hear the the ring tone when people call or their voices when they pick up. I know it's not my speakers. I can hear my alarm when I set it for any ring tone. Strange enough, I can't hear the ring tones when I go to the ring tones list though. I hope you can help.

It sounds like there is either a short with your phone or the software on your phone has gone bad. Have you had your phone for less than a year if so I would recommend you go through your cell phone companies warranty department they will replace the phone for you within a few days. If the phone is not under warranty anymore I would suggest you contact Samsung to see if they will be able to replace the phone at no charge.
