Question
I have a Motorola sliver and blackberry pearl, both are usb but the sliver is way higher voltage and less amps. Can I use the Motorola charger in my blackberry with out problems?

Hello Derek,

You are not supposed to be using the Motorola Usb charger on the Blackberry device because it will damage the battery or at times what I have seen is that it will cause a short in your phone causing the battery to drain fast or not charge at all. However it will work I also recommend that you use it only in emergency circumstances and please make sure it is a oem product not an aftermarket as aftermarket products do not have the ability to protect your device if too much power is pumped through the charger. I would recommend you use a new charger for the appropriate device and please do not use any aftermarket products please use an oem product.
