Question
QUESTION: i was wondering if there is a hack for Motorola RAZRs V3c for homemade mp3
tones.   i can get mp3s onto my RAZR via my bluetooth macbook but it wont let
me use it as a ringtone.  i also tried shorting it to like 34 secs but it still wont
work

ANSWER: Hello Aaron,

There is no hack for putting ringtones into your phone any homemade ringtones should work they do however need to be at a bit rate of 64 or less otherwise they will not work. Please make sure your ringtones are at a proper bit rate and I can almost guarantee you that it will work. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.

QUESTION: i checked that the bit rate is 63.  also i forgot to say that this is a TELUS phone
(yeah im in canada) and that i ve read some stuff saying that TELUS has
restrictions on ringtones.  if this is true i was wondering if their is a hack for the
PHONE not the comp. ive seen some forums saying that other phones can be
altered but nothing on the RAZR.  maybe that bit of info will help

Answer
Hello Aaron,

It is not a hack per say it is more of a direct flash to the phone that removes any restrictions and any logos having to do with that company. There is a company in Massachussets that I believe can help you with your problem http://www.iunlock.com/location.htm that is there contact information give them a call you will have to send them your phone. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you once again for your question.
