Cellular Phones/sending graphics from computer to cell phone

Question
I regularly send text messages to my friends with cellphones (their carriers are AT&T and Verizon).

Is it possible to attach a photo which is scanned into my computer as well?  If yes, is there a specific format to use when I scan and save the photo into my computer?

Thanks for volunteering.

Answer
Hello Theresa,

Yes you can definately scan pictures and send them to your friends the format that I recommend you use is .jpg. You can also send the files to your friends from your very own e-mail just replace the numbers with your friends phone number 5555555555@mms.att.net and your friend with the At&t cell phone will receive it I am not sure what the verizon e-mail would be you can always have your friend with the Verizon cell phone to send you a picture to your email save the from email as the contact you would send emails to in order for that friend to receive pictures. Also please make sure that the picture is less than 300kb is it is bigger than that size please make picture smaller. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
