QUESTION: Ok, so i bought and Unlocked Phone on best-buy, and i was wondering if I'm available to make it into a Cricket. or in other words activate it as a cricket phone. The phone is brand new but i just wanna activate in as a cricket phone, I'm i available to do that or no?

ANSWER: Hello Jorge,

Since Cricket Wireless is not a GSM provider you will have to verify with your provider to see if your phone can be used on your network. Please be advised that you will have to set the settings onto the unlocked phone so you can receive picture messages and video messages. You will also have to set the settings on your phone so you can browse the internet. Please be advised that not all unlocked phones will work with your company simply because CDMA technology is a bit more tricky that GSM (companies that use sim cards). QUESTION: Oh ok thanks. So I check with my cricket provider right?, and after i check with them if my phone can be used on my network, do they set the settings. or do i have to do it manually? If i do it manually do you know how?

If the phone is able to being setup you can do one of three ways. You can one contact there technical support and they walk you through the steps. You can get the settings from me and proceed to entering the settings manually. Last but not least you can see if anybody at the authorized location can enter them for you.
