Question QUESTION: i have been reading about flashing cell phones...what is the pros and cons to this... i have a razor v3 my provider is cingular/at&t..
ANSWER: Hello Wes,
Well I really dont recommend flashing on a v3 the only reason why I would recommend flashing is if there is a new firmware update for your phone or if you have a T-Mobile phone that is unlocked and you currently have At&t service and you dont like to see the T-Mobile logo appear on your phone or you dont like to see the 5 Favs on your device by you flashing your phone you dont have to worry about seeing these things anymore your phone will be a blank phon with a logo of the phones company if its a nokia it will flash nokia or motorola that is probably the pros. The cons are this if you phone has special software on the phone such as Push to Talk, Cellular Video, and other information you will not be able to access that anymore, you also have to reset your phones settings manual because they will be blank. To be honest with you unless you have an unlocked phone from another provider other than yours I would not recommend flashing of any phone. I hope that I have answered your questions if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
