Cellular Phones/razr v3 problem

Question
I dropped my Motorola Razr V3 phone, shattering the pivot corner where the connection between the phone body & screen runs. Now the wired connection is severed & the screen does not display. Can I transfer data (numbers, purchased ring tones, pictures)to the SIM card? Also, can I transfer this data to a PC? I've got another Razr I can use & would like to be able to just transfer all the data from the old phone to the new one. Thanks.

Answer
Hello Bob,

I do apologize but sim cards only have the ability to hold contacts and on a few phones a few text messages they do not hold any games or any ringtones or pictures. Ringtones pictures videos and any games are actually stored on the memory of the phone. Please bare in mind that games and ringtones that were purchased from your provider can not be transfered from one phone to another they are actually locked to that device only. If you want to copy over any information that was not purchased from your provider including your contacts you can use software called motorola phone tools even though the screen does not work you will still be able to copy over your information except for the locked ringtones and videos. You can purchase that software including the data cable at your local cell phone store. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
