QuestionQUESTION: How come I do not get the music that comes with some of my text messages. Do I need to change a setting?
ANSWER: Hello Cathi,
It really much depends on your phone if it is compatible with the music format maybe the settings are off if you happen to have a unlocked phone. What type of phone do you have what is your carrier, have you changed the settings by any chance. Attempt to take out the battery of your phone while your phone is on then wait a few seconds then put the battery back into your phone have somebody send you a multi media message again (text message with music) and see if that works for you. I hope that I have been of help to you if this did not work for you please answer my questions and I will do my best to help you out. Thank you for your question.

QUESTION: Roberto,
My apologies, I meant to include the phone info in my question. I have an LG VX8350 and my carrier is Verizon. I checked all my settings but nothing seemed to be out of the norm.
AnswerHello Cathi,
Now alot of carriers require for you to have a media package that has internet capabilities in order for you to download these ringtones and other media messages that have music to them. Do you by any chance have a package such as this on your plan. Now if you have performed the soft reboot that I have told you now we are going to have to perform a phone reset this will reset the settings on your phone to the original settings as to how you received your phone this will not remove text messages pictures but you will need to reset your wallpaper ringtones and so on. I will give you the instructions towards the bottom of the page. Aparently though after some investigation this has been an issue with this device. You might have to take the phone to verizon so they can update the firmware because apparently that is the remedy for this phone. I do hope that I have been of help to you if you have further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
