Question
my son has a LG white chocolate KG800 at&t service can't get good service.i have a razor and get good service, same provider is there any thing i can do? maybe something with the settings?

Answer
Hello Wes,

The problem is not the At&t service or any settings on the phone the problem lies with the phone itself. The phone you have is an unlocked European Lg Chocolate phone with GSM service that has been imported to the States or purchased from a importer and reseller. The phone is a tri-band phone which only works with certain frequencys 900/1800/1900 it is a tri-band phone made for European frequencys here in the United States we use 850 & 1800 Frequencys meaning it is only using part of the frequency that At&t offers so the reception is not that great in doors but when you are in open spaces your son more than likely gets good if not decent reception. I would suggest purchasing a phone that At&t carries this way you will have no problem with the reception or if you son insists on purchasing unlocked phones make sure it is a quadband phone which will accept all U.S. & European Frequencys. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
