QUESTION: Ive had my LG KE970 phone for about 2 months. About a day or two ago, I realized that when I have a missed call, it does not appear on my screen, therefore, I have no knowledge that I have had a missed call. Please help me as this is very frustrating. I wanna know my missed calls. Thank you!

ANSWER: Hello Nydia,

Unfortunately since you have a unlocked phone these are some of the things that happen with your phone. The reason as to why is because your phone is a Triband phone of which only One of the bands is compatible with your phone here in the States so since your phone only has partial reception you will have problems such as you not being alerted to whom has called you another issue I have heard about is you not being alerted to when you have voicemail. Unfortunately these are the problems you have to deal with with purchasing an unlocked UK phone I would suggest if you are to purchase a unlocked phone please use a unlocked US phone. QUESTION: You're right, ever since I received my phone (I bought it on Ebay) I have never been alerted to my voice messages. So since this issue with not receiving an alert for my missed calls just happend a couple of days ago, will I have this problem now for ever, or will it begin working later on like it did previously??

Hello Nydia,

I do apologize but you will never be able to use those key features in your phone. My wife had that same problem when she wanted the unlocked nokia phone not released here in the United States. She had to change her voicemail message to let people to know to text her after they left her a message. She would also constantly check her voicemails throughout the day. It got to be a bit annoying for her my suggestion would be since you are going to be struggling with this phone is to sell it and get a new phone. At&t has the same phone if you get the phone unlocked in case you use T-Mobile this phone will work for you. If you already have At&t the phone will work automatically for you without setting the picture messaging settings.
