i have a new Krzr k1m and i just got motorola phone tools. I can't find where to add custom ringtones. It shows that there should be a customization section on the right side of the screen, but it isn't there. what do i need to do to add custom ringtones?

By adding custom ringtones it means that you can add ringtones you have made with other ringtones to your phone. The option where you can send via the multimedia studio option. In this option you can send information from your phone such as pictures videos and ringtones from your pc to your phone and from your phone to your pc.
