My aging 8125 has been using the battery faster lately so I decided to adjust the screen brightness down.  I clicked the left end of the scale, and now the screen is black.  On power up I see the "Cingular..." screen, but once the phone switches to Windows start up it goes black again.  I've also tried removing the battery.  Any suggestions for how to get video back?

If you can see the screen flash the cingular logo at the start up you will have to perform a hard reset in order to get the settings fixed. I suggest you backup all of your data by backing up your phones software with the appropriate software that came with the phone.
