Hello,

I have a nokia n82 for about 6 months and been going perfect. But unfortunately 3 buttons are not pressing anymore the down the right and the menu button. I havnt dropped it or anything. It was running perfect yesterday and i put it in the charger and when i woke up the 3 buttons werent responding. Do you have any advice. And also do u think its hardware or software.

That pretty much depends on the phone I would have to annalyze it to see if there is any water damage any humidity damage or condensation damage to the phone. It could be hardware or software have you attempted to perform a soft reboot on the phone by taking out the battery of the phone while the phone is on and putting in the battery back into the phone after a minute or so this should reboot your phone and get any kinks out of the phone. Consider that sort of a computer reboot when your pc isnt responding you have to restart it the same way with a cell phone. If that doesnt fix your problem what any technician will suggest is for you to perform a master clear this will erase all of your memory so please backup all of your important information before you do this following step as all information will be lost. Type *#7370# on you4 mobile main screen and follow the instructions then u will get a Master Reset. If this does not work for you I would suggest to contact Nokia to see if you still are covered by the one year manufacturers warranty and they will fix the problem if it is covered.
