Question
I recently bought a Motorola RAZR from ebay hoping that i could replace the LG chocolate phone that i have. When i turn on the RAZR it says insert SIM card, do the chocolate phones even have sim cards?. I'm thinking i just been "had". what can i do to make the razr work for telus

Answer
Hello Brett,

There are two different type of technologies GSM & CDMA there are chocolate phones that have sim cards and there are chocolate phones that do not have sim cards. Telus does not use sim cards so you will need to purchase a CDMA razr you purchased a GSM razr off of ebay. You have not been had you purchased the wrong phone on accident. I suggest you resell the phone on ebay or craigslist and purchase the phone you need through telus or attempt to purchase the phone on ebay making sure it is designed for the Telus network. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your question.
