QUESTION: i have LG 8600 and having the same problem uploading music from my computer to my phone.....i am with Telus and don't know what to ues. Could you please help me?

I apologize about the delay in my response. I see that your phone has a micro card memory port. What I will recommend for you that will be the easiest way to put music on your phone would be directly through the memory card. You can purchase these micro memory cards at your local cell phone store, electronics store or your local best buy. I do know that they are on sale at Radio shack right now the 1gb is $14.99. First of all lets make sure your computer or pc has a memory card slot reader if not you will need a usb flash drive memory card reader that can be purchased also at radioshack for $9.99-$14.99. Simply insert the memory card into the memory card slot or into the adapter. The computer will recognize a removable hard drive that has been connected. You will suddenly get a prompt to open or view the folder click on open and you will have an open folder link to your memory card. Now what you can do is copy and drag your mp3 files into the folder and when you are done remove the memory card and place the memory card into your phone. QUESTION: i think I erase the folder by mistake....i created a new folder but it will not accept the music

Insert the memory card into your phone format the memory card while it is in your phone then remove the memory card and insert into your pc and try again.

QUESTION: how can i format the memory card from the phone? are there settings that i have to go through? and thanks for all the great answers you have provided do far....:-)

Hello Amy,

Format card in Phone, by going to Settings & Tools menu, option, Memory, Option, Card Memory, select options, with the right soft key, Format card, when that is done transfer the card to your card reader on your pc.
