Cellular Phones/3g sim cards

Question
i have a samsung a737 which is 3g. at&t is my carrier.  my sim card does not say 3g. i think it was taken out of my other phone.  i want to buy a cect p168+ but saw that it does not support 3g.  is there any way to tell if my sim card is 3g.  this is what it says on my card.64k smartchip, cingular and on the back it has 63513G and 3001. can you tell me if i can use this sim card in the p168+, a8 or i32 cect phones.  thanks

Hello Christie,

Just because your sim card does not say 3g that does not mean that it does have 3g service. The 3g service depends on where you are located, if you would like you can go to your local at&t store and get a new sim card at no charge to you. The Cect phone will not support 3g you will need to set up the internet settings the mms settings and other settings in order to use the phone correctly. Also please be aware that this phone is a triband phone and onl one frequency will work here in the United States and that frequency is not available throughout the United States. At times it will be possible that you will have reception problems to no receptions at all. I hope that I have been of help to you if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
