Question Hi,
I have recently purchased a CECT A88 and everything powers up fine but I cannot do any phone like operations such as placing calls, txt messages or internet. The phone was said to have been unlocked. Please help with step by step instructions to get this working if you can. Thank you for your time.

The Cect A88 is a Triband phone out of those three frequencies only one works here in the United States. That frequency is not very common in alot of places, if you have inserted your sim card into the phone and you do not have reception on your phone it will be because your area does not support that frequency. I would recommend for you to return that phone to where you purchased it from and purchase a World Quadband phone or a U.S. Dual band phone. As far as your settings go for your phone they will not be any good if you do not have reception.
